Although the store is new, it is an eel restaurant that was founded in 1960.
I arrived early for lunch and waited.
There was a waiting note in front of the store, and when I wrote it down, it was probably a neighbor who was walking by. I was told that the nearby eel restaurant was more famous, but I decided to go to Asahiya, which had a beautiful store.
The store has a simple interior and the staff are friendly.

Because the sauce is sweet, it tends to burn and become bitter, but I'm glad that you can enjoy the balance between the stock and seasonings in various ways.
I forgot the photo, but I also had grilled liver. This too, with the sweetness of the sauce and the aroma of the scorched sauce, you won't notice any odor and it will melt in an instant.

Whether the opening time was early and the first customer was finished, I was guided to the seat after waiting for about 10 minutes.
Looking at the menu, it was closed for lunch. Is it because it's near the Midsummer Day of the Ox?
I asked for hitsumabushi, but it was served in about 10 minutes.
I thought the grilled eel was a little sweet. The skin is crispy and the thick meat is plump and delicious. The sauce is sweet.
The amount of rice is small, about half that of Nagoya's super famous restaurants. The price is about the same as the super-prosperous store in Nishio City, which is reasonable.

In front of the store first thing in the afternoon. It was still 30 minutes before the store opened, so while I was waiting, I saw a man who looked like the owner, and I said hello. A female clerk came early to take our order, and told us it would be 6:30pm. When I told them I would like to take it home, a female clerk asked the owner and told me that she would make it for me before the store opened. I ordered for 4 people, and since I'm going to start cooking now, it will be ready in about 40 minutes. When I received it and ate it, it tasted great, and the eel was crispy and delicious. The price was reasonable, and the food was so delicious that I couldn't resist going anywhere else to eat. This is a recommended shop.
The store is in front of the temple. The parking lot can park several cars about 50m down. However, it doesn't seem like the name of the store is written on it, so first-time visitors may get confused. The store is crowded even on weekdays, but the customer turnover seems to be quick as the staff are diligent about serving and cleaning up. As for the taste, it's a fatty eel, and you may have a personal preference, but I love the taste. The sweet and spicy sauce blended well with the rice in the bowl. When grilled, the skin was crispy and the inside was fluffy, so I enjoyed the texture. I think of eel as unagidon or hitsumabushi, so unagidon with a large unagi on top is extremely expensive.

I went to try it out after 5pm because it was broadcast on TV Aichi that there was always a line. There is no parking lot, so you can park at a nearby temple parking lot.
Since it was a weekday, I was able to enter the store immediately without lining up.
I ordered the special grilled liver and eel bowl.
The taste of the sauce is not bad, but unfortunately the smell of mirin hits your nose.
Considering the price, the taste is mediocre.
You can eat at a reasonable price even if you are in the special category, so it is likely that there will be a long line.
